What are
dermal fillers?
Dermal fillers defy the signs of ageing by gently erasing lines and wrinkles, adding lost volume and definition, and tackling the appearance of loose skin.
Dermal fillers are formulated using Hyaluronic Acid (HA), which is found naturally within the skin. As we age, HA volumes deplete; by replacing the lost volume we can rehydrate the skin internally, giving safe, natural results. At Aspire, we only use Juvederm®, the world’s leading HA facial filler.
Dermal fillers are ideal for adding volume to cheeks, redefining the jawline and chin, reshaping the nose and lips and smoothing deep lines, such as those that run from the nose to the mouth (nasal labial lines), the mouth to the chin (marionette lines) and under the eyes (tear troughs) to give natural-looking results.

You will meet with your medically-qualified dermal filler expert who will tell you all about dermal filler treatments, including how they work, the process and benefits. You will explore treatment options and discuss the results that you could achieve.

When you come in for treatment, your face will be thoroughly cleansed and make up removed.
Photos will be taken prior to treatment so that we can compare these with your results. The actual treatment involves a series of micro-injections in the area where the skin needs volume added. Photos will be taken immediately after treatment. Your medical practitioner will then go through your post-treatment after-care.

3. Aftercare
Stay hydrated to help reduce swelling. You can also apply a cold compress to help with any swelling. Avoid strenuous exercise, hot baths/showers and saunas for 24 – 48 hours post treatment. Avoid alcohol for 24 hours as this can increase the appearance of any bruising. Avoid touching/rubbing the face and do not apply make-up for 24 hours. Do not have any facial treatments for two weeks post treatment.
