What is thread vein removal?
A combination treatment of medical grade laser and Lumecca IPL to target unwanted pigmentation, commonly found around the nasal area, legs and face, although can be used anywhere on the body.
Lumecca works by heating the blood vessels to destroy them. The body eliminates the damaged cells and replaces them with new fresh rejuvenated skin cells. This not only clears the pigmentation but also dramatically improves the quality of the skin. Leaving you rejuvenated and glowing as well as pigment free!
The Cynosure laser blasts the heat and damages the vein. The intensity of the light is highly effective and almost instantly clears the vein. We recommend you have a course of 3 treatments and very often use a combination of the Lumecca and laser treatment.

Prior to treatment, you will have a consultation with your practitioner who will go through the treatment process with you and complete a treatment form with you. You will have a patch test before treatment . Treatment will start 2 weeks post test patch for laser, however Lumecca can start immediately.

Your treatment area will be cleansed and prepared and protective goggles applied. A handheld device is used to send the light to the affected area and the skin will feel slight flashes of heat that is a prickly sensation.

Stay hydrated and go about your normal daily routine. Apply a broad-spectrum SPF.
